What is Soleil?
It's a female-only furnished sharehouse located in the Waseda neighborhood, in Tokyo.

Just opened in October of 2016, the entirety (rooms, furniture, and appliances) is brand new. Even the facade has been refurbished to welcome you home.

A mere five minutes from the nearest metro station (Waseda Tozai-line), the home is convenient not only to the university but also to many other major spots in Tokyo. Are you interested in sharing an apartment with other like-minded women? If so, please read on.

The Waseda community is known for: it's friendly students; it's a safe and green environment; and an inexpensive, yet high-quality lifestyle for its residents.

Nearby Chinzan-so is a beautiful Japanese garden. The house is also convenient to visit the Cherry Trees, lining near the Kanda River. Here you can enjoy both the convenience of urban life and the lifestyle of a smaller, tight-knit community.

Several supermarkets and convenience stores are nearby as well. There is a little bit of everything here.

"Hi, I am Naoko. Waseda　is my hometown. This is a warm and friendly neighborhood where the neighbors greet each other. I believe this is not just an opportunity to "live in Waseda", but to become one of the neighbors and get deeply involved in the community. You can do things such as joining the local festivals, get to know your neighbors and become patrons of the local merchants who will help you in your road to learning more about Japanese culture & custom which you would not be able to learn at schools and books.

In French, "Soleil" means the sun. The home is named as such, because of my dream to create an environment where all feel welcomed... a place where everyone can have their "place in the sun." Not only for people from overseas but also I'm very excited to share this place with Japanese who would like to live in the modern area with “warmth”!
